Welcome to Bachman Academy’s Summer Endeavor – BASEcamp at Bachman Academy
Bachman Academy Summer Endeavor – BASEcamp – is the summer camp version of Bachman’s famous learning philosophy and offers students a unique, important experience as they develop into functioning adults. We offer 4 one-week residential sessions for students ages 12 – 17. Students can attend one, two, three or even four weeks as you wish.
At BASEcamp, the campus is our classroom. With 200 acres, the options are limitless. Our dedicated and highly trained staff is a top reason why we excel. Our facilities, including outdoor fun at the pool and the large lake, offer fantastic opportunity for learning and personal development.
Students will spend time in all of our core curriculum classes. Core Classes are short, intensive, and activity- and project-driven. They feature hands-on learning within a small group and are specifically designed for our target students and their learning capabilities.
BASEcamp serves students with learning differences, such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NLD), and Attention Deficit Disorder / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD, ADHD). These students often learn best in a non-traditional environment that is challenging, achievement-oriented and individualized – that is what we provide!
The mission of BASEcamp is to empower students who have learning differences to develop the skills and values necessary for success in our global community.
